When Music Becomes Sustainable

Music is not only sound – it is action. This session introduces a sustainability barometer designed to explore and strengthen musical and artistic projects.

Based on three dimensions – inner sustainability (personal well being and values), outer sustainability (economy, environment, and relationships), and activism (the use of voice and platform) – participants are invited to reflect on their own practice.

Through short presentations and group conversations, we will work with questions such as: What cultivates, and what challenges you in your project? How do your choices affect the world around you? And what kind of impact does your work leave behind, in the short and long term?

The session offers concrete tools for creating more conscious, balanced, and meaningful artistic processes.

This is an online presentation and workshop with and for students/teachers/staff from  the Nordics, Balticum and Germany
